Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of terms
By submitting our signup form, or by accessing or using useHandoff in any other way, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
2. Description of service
useHandoff is a client-onboarding tool that lets service firms (“vendors”) collect documents, text answers, and delegated-access requests from their own clients through a structured checklist, and track that work through a review pipeline.
3. Accounts
A new organization signed up through our public form is reviewed before it’s activated — no password link is sent until approval. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Your firm’s clients never set a password; they access their checklist through a single-use, expiring magic link sent to their own email.
4. Your data
You and your clients retain ownership of the content you upload or enter into useHandoff. We process it solely to provide the service to you and don’t use it to train models or share it with unrelated third parties.
5. Payment
Subscription and seat-overage charges are tracked in the product but are not processed automatically — nothing is billed to a card on file. Payment is arranged directly with our team, and you can cancel at any time by contacting us.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use useHandoff to store or transmit unlawful content, to attempt to breach the security of the service, or to use it in a way that could disrupt other customers.
7. Website analytics & session replay
We use Google Analytics and a session replay tool to understand how our website and product are used and to fix problems. See our Privacy Policy for details on what’s collected and how it’s used.
8. Termination
We may deactivate an organization that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe poses a security risk to the service or its other customers. Deactivation blocks that organization’s staff and client logins.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
useHandoff is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of useHandoff after a change means you accept the updated terms.
